In an editorial,  good ‘ol high minded, high fa-loo-tin’ conservative Peggy Noonan pronounced that she still can’t stomach that Palin chick.   Noonan coins Palin as a simpleton who serves only to excite crowds, not inspire or lead. She also draws the parallel between the personalities of Gov. Palin and Pres. Bush and questions whether we still want that “gut” leadership?  C’mon, aren’t we all ready for some intellectual leadership? Can we begin to mature intellectually as a country please? But it’s still good to hear Noonan express a ginuine opinion and not just read talking points.

Chris Rock offered some political commentary on the Sep. 25th episode of Larry King Live. His point: Hillary supporters need to get over themselves because African Americans have taken one for the team election, after election, after election. And you know what, he’s absolutely right. How many African-Americans were excited about the Gore or Kerry candidacy? I’ll wait. But as black people, we did the right thing because we thought both Kerry and Gore would support the interests of our community. Now it’s time to pay what you owe white people! That’s right! We hold our noses while you nominate one boring white boy after another, now’s payback time baby! We need you to do for us, one time, what we always do for you. You Hillary supporters need to support the candidate who shares your interests. And you know that candidate’s name is Barack Obama. Please don’t play with me.
