Change We Can Believe In = Incremental Moderation Over Time?

I rarely link to articles offsite (except for my own) only because I think it’s a sign of lazy blogging. Let’s be honest, I have a blog to share my OWN point of view, not someone else’s right? ‘Tiz True. But occasionlly, an article is so powerful and on point that I can’t look away. Well, that’s how I feel about Drew Westen’s December 20th editorial in the Huffington Post which deals squarely with President Obama’s leadership (or lack thereof). I couldn’t look away, and neither should you. Regardless of whether you agree or disagree with Mr. Westen, this Op-Ed is super – a must read.
If you still don’t believe me (you CYNIC!), here’s a wee little taste;
What’s costing the president are three things: a laissez faire style of leadership that appears weak and removed to everyday Americans, a failure to articulate and defend any coherent ideological position on virtually anything, and a widespread perception that he cares more about special interests like bank, credit card, oil and coal, and health and pharmaceutical companies than he does about the people they are shafting……………CLICK HERE TO READ ARTICLE





Lengthy but excellent article. I still say give the man some time Hes still getting his bearings ya know. But if this is still the situation this time next year, then we have some issues.
